Scarabeo 8 arrived West Contractors AS in Ølensvåg in November 2010 for completion and repair of fire damage.
The duration of the yard-stay is planned to be for about a year.

We have been selected as one of the suppliers on this project. For our company the work mainly consist of scaffolding and surface protection.

Last year Multi Vedlikehold Drift AS had quite a special scaffoldingwork on Leiv Eiriksson. We built scaffolding for the dismantlig of the upper part of the derrick, so that the rig could pass under the bridges of the Bosboros Staits.
 
The rig is now done with the work in the Black Sea and are now on it's way back through the Bosboros Straits. This means that the upper part of the derrick has to be dismantled and assembled again, and Multi Vedlikehold Drift AS has scaffolders onboard for the scaffolding work.
